Dear Woodlawn Community,
In this season of gratitude, we want to extend our deepest thanks for your unwavering support of our mission and community. The commitment of our Woodlawn community, parents, students, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends continues to strengthen our mission to produce independent, lifelong learners who are responsible, contributing members of a diverse global society. Your support remains a cornerstone of the Woodlawn experience.
The ‘Blazer Fund plays a pivotal role in our ability to deliver an exceptional education, contributing approximately 4% of our annual operating budget. These vital resources fuel academic discovery, inspire artistic creativity, enrich athletics, and enhance the student-centered environment that defines Woodlawn. Your investment allows us to expand academic, athletic, and arts initiatives, enhance our campus facilities, and help keep tuition increases to a minimum.
Thanks to your generosity, we have continued to make meaningful progress across key priorities, including:
+ Expanding experiential learning opportunities that are student centered and curiosity driven with off-campus experiences through field excursions, and destination overnight trips.
+ Enhancing our historic campus through continuous improvement upgrades that support experiential learning and student growth.
+ Promoting our co-curricular programs that inspire student passions in Business and Finance, Engineering + Design, as well as Advanced Visual and Performing Arts studies
+ Providing top-tier professional development opportunities and training for our dedicated educators through the state, regional, national, and international programs with the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools, Southern Association of Independent Schools, National Association of Independent Schools, and Global Online Academy, to name a few.
+ Strengthening and expanding our Athletic and Arts programs. From new uniforms and athletic equipment to professional stage performance opportunities for all of our student performers.
+ Continuing to enhance our security and safety measures across campus
